Platelet-Rich Plasma or PRP, is a platelet concentrated component from your own blood which contains nutrient rich cells and protein growth factors. During your appointment, a small amount of blood will be collected and spun to separate the platelets from the blood sample.
The platelets can then be injected to certain areas of the face to help rejuvenate the skin by reducing wrinkles, plump sagging skin, diminish deep creases, fade acne scars, and improve overall complexion. Certain medical conditions that affect your platelets are contraindicated.
